Review #8: My Scheming Milk Extract Brightening Mask

as i'm eager to waste my money on last friday, i decided to buy this My Scheming mask. i found three of them, anti collagen, bird nest, and this milk brightening one. so i choose the one that can brighten up my face, of course \(^..^)/ lets get crackin' <-- what's that?

My Scheming Milk Extract Brightening Mask

i realize i want to pamper my self, and i heard a lot of good things abt this mask. so i decided to buy it and try it my self.

so sorry for the teared up sachet, i forgot to take a picture before i use it, and i also forgot to take a photo of the mask sheet itself. ughhh~ what if i get married someday, will i forget my husband's name? <--- what's that?

if you can't see the ingredient, i swear to you, no alcohol, but there's cucumber. hha! so lets get to the pros!

pros: love the smell, had milky scent to it, and a scent of no alcohol. ha! i love the fact that the really thin mask, can allow all the essence of the mask to absorb easily into the skin without hesitation and its also allow my skin to breathe during all the absorption and penetration process. oh oh, this mask doesnt has this big hole for eyes, it will cover under eyes too. it's really convenient for someone that suffer from dark under eyes, dryness around eyes area,. and i found its really useful to myself as i have slightly dark under eyes. well, it does smoothen out my face, bring my elasticity of my skin, i notice my skin kinda fair and translucent  after i used this mask. love the excess essence from the inside of the sachet.

cons: not really hydrates my skin, irritated my flaky patch. the essence is just too much and slushy. its just dripping when i applied it to my face, other than that, mehh~ just another ordinary mask.

Name: My Scheming Milk Extract Brightening Mask
Made in: Taiwan
Purchased at: Watson (only available at watson, if other drugs store retail it, it is the fake one)
Volume: I sheet per sachet with 30ml essences.
Price: RM 6.90/2.16US$ (2/5)
Value: love the scent, cute package really convinced me to buy it, likes the thin sheet mask, love the pearl paper that prevent the mask from tearing up the mask when you unfold it.
Overall: nice, just nice though. nothing extra special, (>o<)/

Review #7 Purederm Skin Recovery Pearl Essence Mask

So i came across this product when i was at the Watson the other day. the packaging already convince me to buy it. not only that, i came through severe flaky dry skin and it's horrible. plus sunburn and this mask also the first mask i ever use in 2 months. things get tough, just finished with my vicious test at school, and continue to study and study. no rest at all. so i bought this mask to pamper my dehydration skin :D

this how the mask packaging looks like. it looks like a jar, riteeee :D it stated on the front of the packaging, that pearl powder has been a beauty essentials to korean women to brighten up and smooth out their skin. sounds promising~ this mask also claim to tighten pores, hydrating and smoothen the skin. which i found quite impressive myself.

make sure to cleanse your face first~

pros: smoothen my face, tighten my pores. makes my face glow! and the best thing about this mask is that it has this under eye patch? how am i supposed to say this? it's attached with the mask, and you can stick the patch under your eyes. really don't know how to say it. T.T i wanna took some picture but i threw the mask away instead, aha! the mask really freshen up my skin! as i lay it down onto my skin, my face freeze! it's so cold! and it sooth my skin. and and! the mask is really thin, it makes the skin to be able to breath and provide close adhesion to the skin. so that the essence can penetrate and soak into your skin easily :)

cons: not brighten up my face as it claims, doesn't hydrates my face so much. i still got some flaky patch under my eyes and on my mouth corner. felt a little sting, but gone in 15sec i guess, haha other than that, good mask :D will buy it again!

Name: Purederm Skin Recovery Pearl Essence Mask
Volume: 1 sheet per packet
Made in: Korea
Value: love the packaging, love the smells (which smells like pharmacy), love the eye patch/ eye flap for under the eye area.
Price: RM 5.90 / 1.69$ (approx) 1/5
Purchased at: Watson
Overall: like it not love it, but definitely will buy it again for my skin pampering time :)

DIY Color Blocked Bag

i got this bag and i don't really like the color of it so i just set the bag in my wardrobe for years and never wear it again. but, last week i saw this one girl wearing the same bag as mine, but accept she had this bright coral color block on her bag which i found super cool and pretty and doable and mostly fun to make. so i came up with this blue lake color blocked bag that i painted with acrylic color ♥

you'll need:
- the old bag
- acrylic color of your choice (mine was blue lake)
- container
- brushes
- sticky tape

this project is really simple. just covered the edges of the bag where you don't want to be paint, with sticky tape. and then start painting!

1st coat

2nd coat

i don't just stop at the second coat, i coat them until the color looks really opaque which mine was 4 coat. and the blue color goes so well with the original dark brown color of the bag. btw, the red indian skull chain is actually my necklace. just want to jazz up the picture a bit. aha! (bulls)

peace out

Review #6: Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Face Wash (Shirojyun)

Time to shine~

so! i got prettay bad burnt up all 5 years since i was 12 years old. i've been active in all sports and stuff. camping under the sun. running through the heat makes me lost my swag on. haha. bite me, i got swag i know it. so! i doesn't have a problem on being tan as my dad's tan and majority of my friends are tan. but! my mom doesn't like it. hahah! *sigh* she said i does not look like her when i'm all tanned up *what?* well my sister is pretty fair. she got it from my mom. and i looks like thai people got adopted by some chinesse family. yay! so i found this punk! <--- in goood way~

Hada Labo!

it's a japanese product. the whitening toner called (there's two of them) Arbutin Whitening Lotion and Whiten & Hydrate Lotion and it's a toner. you know this asia thingy. lotion is a toner. and rice is a sushi. hihi! and and, this japanese product called Hada Labo, is prettaayy hot out there. it's stated that this is the No.1 whitening or hydrating product in Japan on the plastic that wrapping the tube, when i bought this rockstar,  as i remember it. i guess? i looked up the web site here (click it!) and i amazed~

so i bought the cleanser for start. and i love it! horribly loving it! so it comes in white tube like in the pic (above) it have flip cap and not to big not to small hole so we can control the amount of the cleanser we wanna use.  i use twice a day but sometime i skip using it twice and use once a day instead. i'm afraid that my face will dry out. because i always thought the arbutin that promise to double whiten and brighten the complexion is pretty strong. nvrmind. get to the pros first!

pros: brighten up my face in no time for SURE, does not broke my skin out. i love the citrus smell. if you ever used or smell Neutrogena Deep Clean Moisturising Cleanser, they smells pretty the same. the neutrogena might be a little bit stronger than hada labo one. really nice! low irritation. as it stated in the description at the back of the tube. it's trueee~ it does sting a bit if my skin is dry and flaky when i use them. its contain Hyaluronic acid that keep face from dry out badly. oh! and free from alcohol ♥

the ingredients. can't tell if you guys see the writing. so the cons: it does dry out my face :( not badly if course. it just dry my skin a little. i definitely put on moisturiser after i cleanse my face.
that's it! what not to like about this product? ;)

that's how the texture and the color of the cleanser. pearly white. i really like the fact that i just need a really small amount of this product to wash my face. :D awesome. see how dark my hand is? hehe. after i lather the product on my face, i lather the residue on my hand. ~~~ so that the color of my face and my hand will be the same :)

Name: Hada Labo Arbutin Whitening Face Wash
Volume: 100g
Made in: China (at first i thought damn this ain't real and i'm scared)
Value: The plastic wrapping the product is kinda reasonable just in case the product might be damage during the moving and wtv it is. Love the smell, really mild and not strong at all.
Price: RM 28.90/ 9.45$ (pretty affordable 4/5)
Purchased at: Drugstore
Overall: NICE! will repurchase. i want to try the toner!

Review #5: BeautyMate Purifying and Brightening Nano Mask (japanese products)

heya! ♥

so, i crashed into The Guardian to find the Nivea Visage White Sparkling Whitening Mask and they didn't have it. unavailable at The Watson as well. so i went to this drug store, an i ended up like stupid mad cow when i try to search for the mask. and i found nivea section, but no mask~ and there's alot of mask queued up at this one particular section  and i look for the nivea one. not there. !!!!!!! !@#$%^&*()  and at the very bottom of the rack, i found this cheap mask! it's from japan, and the japanese writing is really attract me to buy it.

this one is in purifying and brightening nano mask. when i read the NANO word. my heart keep saying "buy it you fool buy it" and then i bought it! hoooo~ satisfied! :)

and read the description at the back of the violet colored foil sachet, it state that this mask contain newest nano technology from japan that supposed to brighten up your face and purify it to boost up your skin moisture. the whitening ingredient is black pearl powder. didn't know that black pearl can brights someone skin hemm~ that's interesting! that's why bought it :p

i tried it on my cleanse face. it's really cold! lets go thro the pros: it's really refreshing! the residue/essence of the mask is in gel form, so, when i put it on my face, it doesn't slide down. doesn't feel itchy. does not contain alcohol at all. so fragrance less. smells like natural antibiotic medicine? haha. smells pretty the same to the Nivea Whitening Mask. after 15 minute i took it off, the residue is 80% has been absorbed into my face comparing to the Nivea one. i can tell by squeezing the residue from the mask, its came out less than the nivea one that doesn't absorb well. this mask also made my skin soft but not as soft as the nivea one. i really can tell the different after i took of the mask. my skin get a little fairer. it is also contain Hyaluronic Acid! that is believe to make your skin super hydration and any skin care that contain this particular ingredient is really radical~

(above) this is the plastic cover that came with the mask. it's folded together with the mask so that the mask didn't stick and not tear when you unfold the mask. really convenient!

actually it has the same ingredients as my cleanser from Cetaphil. Canada's product. not all of them but mainly, yeah. awesome! so the cons: the nivea one making my skin more softer rather than this one. but, my skin does become soft. my skin does not instantly bright but i can tell the different. you have to use it twice ot once a week to get complete bright skin. other than that, this mask is really cool! i really like them and will repurchase. i think i'll ditch nivea white sparkling range tough. i think it's more convenient to use only mask to brighten up your face. it's also state that you only have to use this mask to fair up your complexion. rather than nivea, i have to use the whole product of nivea, pricey~ doesn't have that much of money~ so i'm gonna stick with this mask ♥

i don't know where does this mask originally come from but it's in Japanese writing , the email is in Hong Kong and it's made in Taiwan, somebody please clear this up =..=

Name: BeautyMate Purifying and Brightening Nano Mask
Purchased at: Drug Store (also available at 7Eleven, surprised?)
Value: The violet colour is really fascinating, liking the Japanese font on the card,  i like the pamphlet provided, i like all of the information stated on the envelope, love the no alcohol and the smell.
Volume: 1 sheet in 1 packet
Price: RM 5.90/ 1.96$ (1/5)
Overall: love it so much, have a good feeling about this product, gotta try it again to see the result. if it isn't working, i'll change back to the nivea visage range :) will repurchase!
